Top 10 Films

  1. It's A Wonderful Life
Directed by Frank Capra, only watched near Christmas time. It's a wonderful film.
  2. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
    Significant wasbasket scene
  3. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
One of two very well directed films byMilos Forman. It was a pity he did no more.
  4. To Kill A Mockingbird
A very true story which is helped along by some beautiful music and good acting.
  5. Amadeus
Giving his best performance of his career, F. Murray Abraham tells and plays this story so well.
  6. Alien
This being the first of the trilogy is by far the best due to its simplicity and outstanding special effects (no bullshit).
  7. The Natural
This film always seems to be compared to 'Field of Dreams'. It's much better because of the charm of Robert Redford.
  8. Blade Runner
Anything this well set in the future and played so well has a place on my list.
  9. Brazil
Directed by Terry Gilliam, this is another look into the future and this kind of film always seems to draw me in.
  10. The Fisher King
Another film directed by Terry Gilliam. The reason for choosing this film is because he took actors who I would not have believed could have carried off his ideas about the way it was supposed to be performed, but they did.

Favourite Star

Groucho PhotoGroucho Marx & the Marx Brothers. Of all the comedians since the 1930's, these have always been my favourites. "Ah! I can see it now, the two of us happily married with you bending over a hot stove, but I can't see the stove." 'Duck Soup'

Favourite Place

Group Photo

I suppose every place I have ever been with the band has been a pleasure for me and I never really take any photos of the places, just the people who I am with and these are the only couple of photos I have of everyone, taken in Zurich early July '95.
