After returning to Salisbury from uni, I had many a night out in the "golden triangle" of The Town House, The Bishops Mill and The Clock Tower. No matter where we try to go somewhere different, we always end up going to the same old places...

Over the summer I kept in touch with a few friends via the marvels of e-mail - including Heather, the nice physics girl I met at the end of May. We had quite a nice virtual chat.

The weekend uni started back I went to visit Jane in Dorchester, it was the first experience I've ever had of Dorchester night life - quite interesting, really. For a change there were a few calls to persuade me to expose myself. Terrible these Dorchester girls!!

For the first FNO of the 1999/2000 academic year, I went to Guildford to stay with Simon and Alison, and to go see what was going on in the old Union. I met up with Heather again, which was nice, and we spent the rest of the night together, having a bit of a chat. And the occasional snog. At the end of the night Simon and Alison were wondering what had happened to me! Oops. Well I managed to meet up with them in time to get a lift back to their house, luckily - they were going to leave me all alone!

I met up with heather the following Friday at the Science Museum, she had a day off lectures, but that was okay - we were going to the Science museum after all (she does Physics). We had quite a nice time, but I came over all shy! Luckily she agreed to see me the following week, when we got on even better. After that I went down to Guildford to see he nearly every weekend, except when I had weddings to attend, or Heather had work, or she came here to visit me (and met Nick - the weird one, and Stewart - the tall one). I think meeting Heather has to be one of the best things that have ever happened to me. Which is nice.

For the big New Years Eve thing I went to Alison's where we downed Tequila on the stroke of midnight. That and the Champagne proved to cause a nice headache come 01/01/00.
