bug bandit

I bought this 50cc scooter while I was travelling Australia, in 2004-2005 and covered nearly 7,000kms on it.

scooter The day I picked my new scooter up we went to the nearest vinyard for a photo opportinity.
The Bug Bandit is sold as a commuter bike, here's what the Bug's website says:
The perfect getaway machine.... to get you about the city. It’s one of those smart bikes that get you where you want to go..and makes the whole thing fun.
Which is nice, but the scooter is also good for trips of up to 300kms a day, as I found during my epic scooter journeys.

The bike served me well for 5 months, I was considering bringing it home with me, but the cost to ship made it not worth it, plus after using it for all time made me want to get a proper bike again.
